Deus e o Diabo na Terra do Sol

Cowboy Manuel (Geraldo del Rey) and his wife Rosa (Iona Magalhães) flee to the backlands after he kills a colonel who tries to cheat him. In the violent, drought-stricken Brazilian wilderness, they meet two iconic figures: Sebastião (Lídio Silva), who calls himself divine, and Corisco (Othon Bastos), who describes himself as demonic. Tying their fates to these figures is a tragic decision, however, as the mercenary Antonio das Mortes (Maurício do Valle) is hot on their trail.
