In a remote village in the Swiss Alps, Anna falls in love with the outsider Marco. Their happiness doesn't last long. After their wedding, Marco is diagnosed with a brain tumor, causing him to exhibit behaviors very different from those Anna knew. Anna fights to preserve a love she believes can conquer even death.
