Performing every night to an audience of male admirers, cabaret singer Yuri attracts the attention of Yoshio Tsugawa, a motorbike salesman who is hopelessly bewitched by the unattainable star. In his eagerness to win her favour, Yoshio cheats his own customers to support Yuri's glamorous lifestyle, and ends up in jail for embezzlement.
