Saint Omer

Rama, a novelist in her thirties, attends the trial of Laurence Coly in the Saint-Omer courthouse. She is accused of killing her fifteen-month-old daughter by abandoning her on a beach in northern France as the tide was coming in. Rama would like to write a contemporary adaptation of the ancient myth of Medea based on this story, but nothing goes as planned.
