In 1934, the Estado Novo presented itself to the world with a Colonial Exhibition where the virile Portuguese Empire displayed Rosinha, a Guinean native, as its ultimate symbol. ROSINHA AND OTHER BUSH CREATURES revisits this event to understand what was constructed within it and how it can still resonate today in the supposed "gentle racism" of the Portuguese.
