Reality

On the afternoon of Saturday, June 3, 2017, 25-year-old Reality Winner is confronted by the FBI at her home. An enigmatic conversation begins, and before long, Reality's life begins to unravel. With all dialogue taken directly from the FBI interrogation transcript—alternately distressing and mundane, darkly funny and surreal—we follow the experience of one woman facing the work of the U.S. government. And as more details of Reality's life are revealed and more armed men arrive, a complex portrait emerges of an American millennial, yoga instructor, and veteran, under siege.
