Orpheus is a famous musician, in love with the sculptor Eurydice. During a rehearsal, Orpheus is accidentally electrocuted by his guitar and dies on stage. Charon transports him to the Underworld, but Hades and Persephone send Orpheus back to Earth. Eurydice, battling her drug addiction, dies of an overdose during an Orpheus concert. With Persephone's help, he returns to the Underworld to try and save his beloved. An adaptation of the Myth of Orpheus to the 1980s rock world, it is also a tribute to Jean Cocteau and his classic adaptation of the same myth.
