O Piano

Late 19th century, New Zealand. Ada, mute since childhood and mother to a nine-year-old girl, is going to meet her new husband at the ends of the "bush." He agrees to transport all her furniture with the exception of her beloved piano, which remains at a neighbor's house. Unable to bear this loss, Ada accepts the deal the neighbor proposes: to reclaim the piano, key by key, submitting to his fantasies.
