Rio de Janeiro, 2016. The hottest summer in history. The city is preparing for the Olympic Games. Ana, a 32-year-old public defender, is working in defence of a community threatened with eviction due to the Olympic Park. Meanwhile, mysterious purple spots, similar to fungus, appear on her body. Strange things begin to happen in the city and in Ana's body. The temperature rises, creating a humid and suffocating atmosphere. Drizzle accumulates, paving the way for heavy rain.
