In a family hotel on Portugal's north coast, several women from the same family across different generations live together. In a relationship poisoned by bitterness, they try to survive in the decaying hotel. The unexpected arrival of a granddaughter into this claustrophobic space causes disturbance and the reawakening of latent hatreds and accumulated grudges.
