Taeko leads a quiet life in the company of her son, Keita, and her husband, Jiro. A tragic accident leads to the reappearance of Park, Keita's biological father. Park is deaf and living on the streets. To deal with the pain and guilt, Taeko dedicates herself to helping him. Love Life, inspired by Akiko Yano's song of the same name, is an intimate and touching melodrama about the complexity of family ties and how they survive loss and loneliness.
