La peau douce

Pierre, a distinguished academic in literature and, apparently, happily married, begins an affair with a stunning flight attendant, who is captivated by his charm and reputation. Unable to face up to the situation, Pierre leaves his wife and goes to live on his own, visiting his wife and his mistress in turn.
