In Nazareth, beneath a veneer of normality, the city is gripped by madness. Under pressure, a man tries to resolve things with his own hands. But he only manages to destroy himself. This man is E.S.'s father. During this time, a love story unfolds between a Palestinian living in Jerusalem and a Palestinian woman from Ramallah. The man, E.S., is torn between his ailing father and this love, striving to keep both alive.
