Shakib (Mohsen Tanabandeh) is a construction worker who lives as a homeless man after losing his wife and son in an earthquake. Over the past two years, he has developed a relationship with Ladan (Mahsa Hejazi), a deaf and mute prostitute. When the construction site where Shakib works becomes the setting for a film about the atrocities committed by Hitler during World War II, he is invited to play a role in the film, is given a house, and the opportunity to rebuild his life. When Ladan discovers this, she goes to Shakib's workplace to ask for his help and a place to stay, forcing him to devise a plan that could destroy his chance at a new life.
