Lisbon, 80s. Rosa joins a group of young people disillusioned with post-Revolution Portugal. Part of a clandestine far-left armed organisation, they share political ideals and a daily life that brings them closer together. But their idealism clashes head-on with the changing country and a vast police operation targeting them. Fleeing along a road with no way back and no way out, their lives are made up of bank robberies, bombs, friendships, prison, love and death. Trapped, their only choice is to keep running until they are arrested or killed.
