Father Mother Sister Brother is a feature film conceived as a triptych. Three stories that explore the relationships between grown-up children, their distant - or absent - parents and the ties that bind them. Each chapter takes place in the present, in different locations: "Father" takes place in the north-east of the United States; "Mother" in Dublin; and "Sister Brother" in Paris. The film is constructed as a series of intimate, observational, silent and non-judgemental portraits. A subtle comedy, shot through with delicate threads of melancholy.
