An illegal settlement in Reboleira awakens to the news of a violent police raid that occurred the previous night. Camila, a 7-year-old girl, sets off in search of her brother, Igor. She is worried. Igor has been missing. At the same time, Jysone is in a hurry: after 6 years in prison and 5 weeks of freedom, Jysone has finally found a job and knows he cannot be late. He is looking for someone who can give him a ride as he walks through the neighborhood alleys, where he keeps running into friends and acquaintances, which delays him even further. The fates of our two protagonists will eventually cross in the worst way possible. That afternoon, the invitation to spend a weekend in Leiria, at his colleague Jorge's house, makes Mariana start looking at him differently. Unsure of her friend's intentions, Mariana accepts the unexpected and disconcerting invitation. After another failed attempt to get pregnant, a young couple begins to diverge in their plans. Pandemics, climate change, and life's uncertainties loom on the horizon. What does it mean to bring a child into an increasingly complicated world? The cycles of nature and seasons, however, remain indifferent.
