Like many 15-year-old boys, Ahmet dreams of something more. Living in a remote village in North Macedonia, he is tasked with guarding the family flock, while his father seeks treatment for his younger brother, five-year-old Naim, who hasn't spoken since their mother's death. Ahmet finds refuge in music and asks his brother to help him dazzle Aya, the girl he has fallen in love with, who is already promised to someone else. DJ Ahmet portrays the clash between tradition and modernity in an ode to the power of music.
