Close, winner of the Grand Jury Prize at this year's Cannes Film Festival, is a profoundly moving film about adolescence, friendship, and responsibility. This is the story of Léo and Rémi, two 13-year-old boys who are very close and spend their summer holidays together in an innocent intimacy, typical of their age. However, when the school year begins, their friendship is put to the test when their relationship becomes the target of disparaging and prejudiced comments from their peers. In an attempt to avoid these intrusive and negative observations, Léo distances himself from Rémi, but when Rémi disappears, Léo grows closer to Rémi's mother, Sophie.
