A novelist takes a long trip to visit a friend's bookstore, whom she hasn't seen in a long time. Later, during a walk, she meets a director and his wife. They stroll through a park where they encounter an actress. The novelist then decides to make a film and tries to convince the actress to play the lead. They go to the bookstore where a group of friends are talking and drinking. The actress drinks and ends up falling asleep...
