More than a fictionalised documentary about Natália Correia, "The Woman Who Died Standing" is a poetic casting with actors who wander between a film and a play. It takes place in places inhabited before by Natália and now by these actors who help us to excavate the myths, ghosts and pains born in the life and work of Natália - one of the most important figures in Portuguese culture, literature and politics, before and after the 25th of April.
