Paulo Rocha returned to the writer Wenceslau de Moraes after A Ilha dos Amores, a film with which A ILHA DE MORAES establishes an intimate dialogue. To film the life and work of the Portuguese writer who lived in the Far East, Paulo Rocha filmed documents and places frequented by the writer, confronting them with Moraes' texts and with his A Ilha dos Amores.
